I have been on hold over an hour to try and get through to psych UK just today. The whole set up is a complete mess. I have emailed multiple times (with no reply) as I can not log in due to the Dob on the website not working and the only reply on facebook is "Please log into your portal" Other friends who I have recommended to P uk to have had equally difficult and extremely stressful outcomes. We are all fed up with this company. My friend was even told that they P UK only conduct 1hr ASD assessments for NHS which was not long enough to asses her as ASD but if she was a private patient it would have been a 2 hr assessment which they were sure would have shown up as her being diagnosed as asd. She was told she could only be assessed as maybe having ASD because of the limited apt times with NHS. I also know a private patient who was assessed within weeks with non of the drama we had as NHS patients but that cost £800 Not only is their's a discriminatory two tiered system but it's a system not fit for purpose. I can only think the 5 star ratings are from private patients because they certainly are NOT from NHS patients.
